Frequently Asked Questions
What is BattleDoge?+
BattleDoge is a web-based strategy-intensive role-playing-game integrated onto the Ethereum blockchain.
What is Ashenreach and the Ashmarket?+
Ashenreach is a war-worn expanse where ash drifts sideways and never settles. The Ashmarket is its beating heart: a rib-arched bazaar where shadow goblins sell reclaimed weapons and armor to anyone with gold. This is implicitly the place where you will buy all your weapons and armor.
Who are Crawlers, Stalkers, and Bonewalkers?+
They’re the ladder of fighters. Crawlers skulk low, scavenging salvage to buy their first iron. Stalkers learn to stand and shoot pistols, handling bucklers and swords. Bonewalkers are the upright endgame: oath-bound fighters whose names begin to matter. Your character will evolve through these three stages as you level up and gain experience and abilities.
What are the Ash Wardens, the Bone Creed and the Iron Kennel?+
These are the three factions available in-game and you will have to choose your allegiance when you summon your hero. Each will bring different benefits.
What is the Hall of Heroes (the Leaderboard) and how do names get carved?+
A green-lit nave housing a fused rune slab that remembers deeds in grooves. Great honor comes to those that are able to have their names carved on the Leaderboard.
What is the Smiling Maw - the arena that moves?+
A crawler-arena with a toothed gate and floodlights. It rolls into markets, eats courage for tickets, and leaves with new dents and fewer names. The arena is one of the places you can go to and earn money for your victories against other players.
